Today was to be the day that the bench tops for the kitchen turned up, though both Chief and Deputy had heard all this stuff before so we were not surprised when we returned home and there was .... no bench tops.
The boys though, Peter and Phil had been busy now that the scaffolding was down. Storm water work so the front yard that once had a beautiful covering of grass, was dug up and messed up even further!
The work was down the side and at the back as well.
Trench has been started at the back of the house so expect some further work tomorrow. There had also been a further clean up of the site. More stuff was removed so gradually the area is being cleaned up.
Tomorrow, well I expect there to be further work on the storm water, there is also a huge pile of tiles so could we see the tilers back? I'd suggest that we might see the bench tops, however I think it is best now to leave that as a surprise!
