Big weekend, great result

This weekend the work didn't stop. While the family traversed the various sporting fields over the course of the day, the plasters were back and they put in another very solid, very noisy, hard working day.

Today, Sunday, we had a very nice husband and wife team in attendance and they completed the cornice work in the new family room out the back and all of the second floor. The result is excellent. It has been a busy, dirty and noisy weekend however the results speak for themselves, we have rooms, that look like rooms ...
This is the family room out the back. For perspective, the sliding doors are on the right as you look at the picture.
Looking up into the stairwell from various different angles, below, walking towards it and from up top. This could all be different tomorrow as the stairs are apparently being installed.

From the top of the stairs, the short hallway down to Brendan's room on the right and the bathroom on the left.
The photos are not the best, however Joel's room, Marissa's room and robe, Brendan's room.

It is even harder to get good shots in the bathroom, a couple of shots of the bath area looking from the shower and the vanity space.

Outside, the alfresco area has been covered in and sheeted and plastered. It is currently the storage area for the left over insulation. Tomorrow, this area should see a difference as the glazier is apparently coming to put in the glass so the boards currently in place will be removed.
And to finish off, a shot of the finished roof and rear profile. Tomorrow is supposed to see the return of Peter and Phil to start the cladding of the second floor now that the roof has been finished.

If tomorrow goes to plan, it should be a big day and results a plenty as we move ever so closer to being finished.
