Time to fluff up!

Two posts in one day, have to make up for lost time! The resident clowns are all still on holidays so in between jobs around the place, we had a front row seat to the building action today.

The lone roofer turned up and spent some time on the roof putting in screws, then disappeared at lunch, with the job still not done. MMmm. Apparently they are back tomorrow to finish the job .....

I was given the esteemed job of helping Wayne carry in the bath for upstairs, though I had to pass it over to the professionals to get it actually up to the second floor (there are no stairs yet). Peter then spent time building the frame for it ready for sheeting tomorrow/Saturday.

The rest of the day was spent fluffing up the rest of downstairs and upstairs ready for sheeting and plastering. Here is another shot of the new family room with the fluff.
Taking the shot from the corner of the room on the left above as you look at it also shows some of Peter's handy work. The door cut into the kitchen. It is really starting to take shape now.
Upstairs has been completely fluffed now. All the photos show is lots of wood and fluffy stuff, a little hard to see things clearly, the first shot from the Joel's room looking through Marissa's room to Brendan's room.
The view looking from Brendan's room into the bathroom, wood, fluff and a bit of water pipes ..
And Peter's proud piece of work, the man hole, with the air conditioner vents for company.
Tomorrow the boys, Peter and Phil are off to Balmain for a job over there while the house is turned over to the roofers to finish (MMmm) and the plasters to sheet and plaster. Chinese guys who are apparently guns. We'll see what sort of progress we have at the end of the day.
