Get your ear muffs, defluffing in progress!

The last day of week 17 certainly had its moments. It all started about 7.20am this morning when the roofers (3 of them!) turned up, around the same time that the big truck arrived with the plasterboard. The air then turned blue as the youngster in the truck expressed his feelings on where the plasterboard had to be unloaded. Thankfully while I was negotiating with his attitude, a big van rolled down the street and out poured the sheeters and plasters.

Interesting negotiations and then for the next few hours the truck was unloaded by the attitude and his mate to the Chinese workers who got straight into it. Talk about a rush of activity and noise! Later on, when the roof had dried from the overnight rain, the roofers started, and they banged and screwed with the best of them as well.

Anyway, talk about working hard. The plasters left around 5 tonight and the whole of the second floor and the new family room has been sheeted and the start of the plastering. Unbelievable amount of noise and mess, but a big result.

The roof is also finally completely finished. I don't think Wayne left them an option but to finish today!

Now, yesterday, the new family room was a fluff fest. Now look at it all nice and sheeted, actually looks like a room.

The stairwell ..
Joel's, then Marissa's and then Brendan's room with the robe in Brendan's room.

The toilet, vanity, shower and the hallway.

The plasters are coming back for a full day on Saturday, then another man is coming on Sunday to complete all the cornices. This is so that everything is ready for the stairs on Monday. A big weekend in front of us as well, though I'm sure plastering will not be as noisy as today!
