The Circus Has Left Town!

Well folks, the clowns have arrived back in town only to find that their tent has moved on. After a week and a half away on holidays, the travelers arrived home yesterday to find the circus tent on the ground and a colourbond roof in its place. The roof still  isn't finished, though the bad weather, rain and the roofers worst enemy, wind, has conspired to leave the roof tantalisingly close to be being finished.

With the work on the roof and gutter, you can start to see the outline of the new entrance way at the side of the house.
Inside we were struck by how much it had changed out the back. Now it felt like the house had grown, particularly as the old bathroom wall had been removed and now the full new family room could be experienced. Looking into the room .. it is a little dark as the sliding doors have been covered in as the glass is not being put in until Monday.
Looking back down the hallway .. the laundry door on the right.
Upstairs, the plumbing had been completed in the bathroom and the installation had been commenced in the bedrooms. The shower ..
The bath ...
The vanity ..
Joel's fluffy room ..
Brendan's fluffy room ..
The stairwell with the temporary floor removed, filled with insulation. The stairs are apparently coming on Monday to be installed.
And looking into the storage room off the top of the stairs. Due to the spaghetti form work completed by the previous renovation, the storage space is now less than half what we thought it would be, however it is better than nothing.
The job for Thursday is to complete the roof and get all the insulation put in the walls and ceiling as the sheeters and plasters are coming on Friday/Saturday. That will really make it feel like a house with the walls up.
